The cover art for “31 Prayers for Marriage” has been finished! You can see it over there to the right. It’s a little bit different this time; you can see that it has a lighter, silver background, instead of the usual dark background that fits in with the cover image. I found that using red for the background put far too much red on the cover altogether, and the imagery was lost. So instead, I went with silver, which fits the image very well, since the rings have some white gold as well as yellow gold in them; plus, the yellow-gold background had far too much yellow and far too little gold. And it’s all in God’s hands, because I think this cover works perfectly.
The red rose, of course, is a symbol of love and passion. The two rings are the symbol of lifelong commitment in a marriage. Passion is both tempered and sustained by intimacy and devotion, even if passion is what first leads us to love. “31 Prayers for Marriage” should be released within a couple of weeks, so keep an eye out either here or on Amazon for that.
